Just press for heat, release to cool and alternate as often as you like. If you happen to doze off and your hand relaxes, the unit will cool as a safety feature. Size: 14 x 27″, Large/Standard: Designed for Back/Hip/Leg/Shoulders 14″ x 14″, Medium: Designed for lumbar area and knee 4″ x 17″, Small: Designed for  the neck, sinus or TMJ area. It applies moist heat therapy to specific joints – such as the elbow, knee or ankle. Comes with a long Velcro fastener which allows adjustment for a snug fit on any small areas. The Standard / Large size provide nearly twice the size of most standard heating pads. Providing an area of heat therapy large enough to cover the entire spinal area, the length of a hip and leg or all across both shoulders, to effectively relieve pain and relax all the associated muscles – not just one small, isolated point.   Note:  Unfortunately, we are no longer able to repair Thermophore units, because of a variety of regulatory, quality and liability concerns. We do not recommend trying to repair or replace any components yourself, as it may cause a safety hazard. As an indication of our confidence in our products, we have extended our warranty coverage to two years from the date of purchase on all Thermophore units. We will replace any Thermophore pack that was purchased within the past two years and does not work properly because of a manufacturing defect. Please save your receipt to confirm date of purchase. If no receipt is available, we can determine the date of manufacture by the serial number stamped on the heating unit to estimate the date of purchase.
